Review: LANVIN ME, The New Fragrance By Lanvin

“Stop, enough, let me vibrate, catch fire, love, captivate, become the woman I really am" 

This summer, Lanvin launched the latest fragrance for women which is the new LANVIN Me. It's credo "Be myself, become ME”, and it embodies elegance, style and Parisian chic. This fragrance is specially dedicated to women, individuals, who are not pretentious, but unique and confident in their own way. 

Every LANVIN ME is a special gift as the golden thread which wraps the outer carton resembles ribbons that decorate gifts. The flacon is so beautiful, with Lanvin's logo engraved on the black stopper and a gold-colour chain with crystal pendant is on the neck of the bottle. Everything is so simple and nicely done, I really love the whole packaging.

Is this who I am? Whimsical and bold, yet fragile? 

Designer Alber Elbaz collaborated with perfumer Domitille Bertier to create this new, unique fragrance without false modesty, to accentuate strong will, intimacy and sensuality. The restrained and massive black cap contrasting with the lusciously thick bottle, made feminine, made fashion with the sparkle of a precious shining gemstone. The bottle works it's intoxicating magic on me and I'm irresistibly hooked.

What's in ME?

Top notes of Lanvin Me is delicate floral notes supported and sweetened by fruity zest of blueberry combined with liquorice in the heart. The seductive hues are offered by intense tuberose complementing sweet-fruity passions rounded the base.

The fragrance picks up it's delicious floral references with vivacity and spirit. To me, it has quite a strong sweet and fruity scent. It's not like many of those fruity-florals around, because it is very strong and draws on the blueberry. The liquorice in this fragrance is not overpowering, supports the berries nicely, the dry down is woody.
