Facial Treatment @ Facework Esthetic, Sunway Mentari

Last month, I was invited by Caroline to do a facial treatment review since my university is just opposite this saloon, I gladly accepted it because I need one badly! A few weeks before I had my appointment with Facework Esthetic, a post from Singapore's famous beauty guru - Bun Bun made me think twice about this offer. At first, I am worried that I will ended up like her but I still went through this treatment and I didn't regret at all.

Facework Esthetic Sdn Bhd, renowned as a member of Branding Association was established in year 2012. They have varieties of facial treatment to suit different kind of skin type. Other than that, they are one of the esthetic center that provides the latest Korea style cosmetic surgery in Malaysia with a comprehensive makeover trip to Korea. I made some talk with them and I felt much safer to let them take control of my face.

They use two brands of skincare in their saloon, one of them is Cell Act - a well known brand. I was quite relieve because I used their products in other facials and my skin can accept this brand.

Facework Esthetic is few shops away from the famous Fat One steamboat in Sunway, I'm not very familiar with Subang area so I got lost finding my way to them. Luckily, Janet the manager was very patient with me so she guide me on the phone till I found my way. They have a lot of parking space in front of the shop, and they are located next to a Mamak stall. You don't have to worry that your partner is bored as they can have yumcha(tea) session while waiting for you.

The beautician will have to interview you and analyse your skin personally for better results. You have to come clean and tell them everything so that they know what's best for you. The beautician discuss about my skin and gave me lots of advise to improve it. I have combination skin (oily,dry and sensitive) as I was told.

You will have a choice whether to include extraction during your facial treatment, I hate the pain but the beautician told me my forehead is pretty congested so it will take some time to clear it. Extraction was did professionally and she was quite gentle to me compared to other beauty saloons outside.

Results:

As you can see, this is right after the facial where my cheeks/T zone area are still very red. I feel that my face is more clean right now, and I have been using face scrubs especially on my forehead. This is not a one time treatment, they are not magicians, we need to work hard and go back on schedule to improve our face conditions. I really felt that my skin improved after this treatment.

Overall, I love this place and the people are very friendly and they genuinely care for you. They are do not hard sell, don't worry! I think this is one of the major concerns for all when visiting a saloon or beauty parlour. I can understand that! I was recommended a ampoules since my skin is really sensitive, and I agree to use it without any pressure! It definitely helps my skin recover faster so money is well spent :)
