MAIU Japanase Buffet @ Sri Petaling

I've always been a big fan of Japanese food and I found a really good one just 5 minutes from my house! I went there three times already and I'm still very satisfied with their food and service. This place is usually crowded and you have to book if not you won't have a chance to try it out! ♥ 

MAIU is a good quality buffet with the "unlimited ala-carte" style to maintain the freshness of the dishes instead of displaying it like a normal buffet. I think it's much better because the food is prepared only when you order it! The items don't come in a particularly nice presentation if you order small portions, but if you order the a big portion of sashimi, the presentation looks gorgeous! (it swims to you on a boat!!!)

The buffet menu comes in a leaflet and they have limited items only. They have also increase the price of the buffet but updated new items since the last time I came.

Sashimi: Salmon & Shiro Maguro *Recommended*

This dish is "okay" only, I don't really like it.

They are really good, you must order this!

MAIU also offers ala-carte and set lunch.

MAIU might not be suitable if you are looking for wide varieties of food. However, it is a good place if you are looking for good quality food especially sashimi! For the price of RM43.80, you can have unlimited orders of fresh sashimi, soft shell crabs, hand-rolls and macha ice cream! I think it's a good place to go with a group of friends and slowly enjoy the food!

Service:
The time taken to serve the dishes are average, the staff here are quite friendly as well.

Parking: 
I think it's really hard to find a parking spot during lunch time as the nearby shops are mostly workshops.

Overall:

* They have recently updated their menu so some items are not captured.
