It was my first time to The Majestic Hotel and I fell in love with the building. This colonial heritage building was built in 1932 and became one of the great hotels of Kuala Lumpur in it's time. The hotel was an icon of Malaya's boom years leading to World War II and came to be the place for glamorous social events, government receptions and the residence for prominent international visitors.
The Orchid Conservatory was really amazingly beautiful, with sunlight beaming through the glass roof and walls. It feels like we're in Cameron Highland once we stepped inside, the air conditioner was just nice and the whole room smells so refreshing.
The waiter guided us to our table and explained to us about their afternoon tea. They are really friendly and helpful the whole time.
We are given the option of tea or coffee, but the coffee is not refillable. |

The environment was great, the service was pleasant but the only fallback was the food. It was so-so for me but I really enjoyed the tea. It was a good experience, and with great company, I wouldn't ask for more!
