You know you're hooked on a product when you try it once and go online to buy almost every colour they have. In this case, I was so deeply in love with the
Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquers or Show Off Lip Lacquers(US version name) after receiving it in
a swap from Austria, I whatsapp my dear friend - Karena who was in London to purchase them for me.
Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquers is like a
non-sticky, satin lipgloss + lipstick in a tube and it is very opaque! I don't know why but Rimmel is no longer available in Malaysia, so you have to get these babies online. They are retailing at £5.99 in the U.K/$5.99 in U.S per tube and I think it is really affordable! Don't worry, I found out that ASOS.com actually carries them and you can get free shipping if you spend above £20.00.

The Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquers doesn't come with any boxes. They come in a glossy black tube with a unique diamond cut cap. The packaging is super pretty and the bottom portion of the body is transparent so you can differentiate each shade.
I love that
the applicator has a little pocket in the center that stores product so you don't have to keep dipping it in for more products.

400 Big Bang - Bright neutral-tone red
The
consistency and opacity of the product amazes me! They are really
creamy and pigmented. These Lip Lacquers has a
satiny finish that doesn't bleed at all. It actually dries a little matte, and it may be a little drying after some time. I must admit that the staying power is fantastic, it does transfers after a meal but it gives me a light stain of the original colour. The creamy texture makes the lips look juicy and really pretty! Rimmel also did a great job on the colour selection, they have different shades from nude, pink to red.
The only drawback is I think these Lip Lacquers have a
weird scent to it, it reminds me of plastic + vegetables scent to it. I really don't know how to describe that odor. I got used to it so it doesn't bother me anymore.
